The humidity of the base is necessary no higher than 4%, and if it exceeds this indicator, then it is necessary to apply an intermediate layer of waterproofing. When checking the evenness of the base with a two -meter rail, the deviation should not be more than 2 mm. In addition to everything, the surface should not contain oil, “cement milk” and pollution. To fulfill all of the above conditions, you will need grinding, shot and milling equipment. The roughness of the surface significantly affects the size of the adhesion of the polymer sex. One of the most effective ways to prepare a concrete surface is shotfest processing. With its help, you can remove the poorly-abstent particles and “cement milk”, as well as increase the coating of concrete by 2-3 times and create a large degree of roughness. Milling equipment is more efficient to use in rooms where it is necessary to align significant changes in the concrete base (a maximum of 5mm per pass). Such equipment will remove the existing polymer coating, as well as a thin layer of paint, without destroying the concrete surface. If you need to remove small irregularities of the base, grinding equipment is suitable. With it, you can easily prepare hard -to -reach places and adjacency. After the surface processing, it is necessary to perform priming. To increase the clutch of the base with the overlying layer and make the surface rough, you can add quartz sand during the device of the primer layer. The temperature and shrinkage seam in such a coating must be cut so that it is repeated on a concrete base. In the case when the concrete surface was in operation for more than a year, the seams should be cut twice less than in concrete. The seam can be filled in a standard way. First, a primer occurs with the material, and then filling with sealant and a special sealing cord. The readiness of the surface for loads depends on the temperature, but often the coating can often be used in five to ten days.
