Single -toe roof
Almost all country houses have the so -called gable roofs of various shapes. Such designs have two gentle parts that descend from the common peak. The use of these structures is determined not so much by the practicality or ease of construction, but a common habit of making roofs just such.
In fact, single -runs (single -toe roofs), which, as a rule, are made only for utility structures, are not inferior to gableders in any way. The appearance with a high -quality design project is quite aesthetic, and a single -sided roof is built with your own hands with much lower temporary and economic costs.
The degree of inclination
You should first select the material, since the slope depends on it. In turn, the slope cannot be made less recommended, since otherwise a lot of snow will accumulate in the winter, and during the rain, water will be able to flow under the structural elements. The most optimal option is a slope of 20 to 30 degrees.
To create a slope, opposite walls make different heights. In connection with such a requirement, it is necessary to initially install the so -called Mauerlatians, that is, guide beams that are attached to the walls on the anchor so that the roof structure does not demolish the wind in the future.
When you installed the rafters in the right way and attached them to the Mauerlatians, it is time to start a crate that is nailed perpendicular to the rafters with a distance of no more than fifteen centimeters for the slate and a big step for other coatings. Any selected waterproofing material is rolled to the crate, and the proper material itself is laid on top in accordance with the prescribed technology. In fact, the assembly is quite simple and does not require any special knowledge or skills.
