Before gluing, you need to prepare the repaired surface. It must be brought to a state as close to the ideal as possible, removing all the irregularities, cleansing it of pollution, putty.
The glass wallpaper itself also require appropriate preparation. The roll is cut into the blanks of the desired length, necessarily leave the allowance of 5 – 10 centimeters long, this is done to fit the picture. If the pattern is not needed, the allowance can be done less. The most crucial moment is the moment of pashing the glass wallpaper itself. Glue should be simultaneously applied to wallpaper and wall with a roller. After all of the above is completed, proceed to gluing walls. The workpiece of glass wallpaper is tightly pressed against the wall, and the corners are carefully bent at least 10 centimeters.
When the work on pasting the walls is completely completed, they move to the second important stage – painting glass wallpaper.
I paint
Just as in the case of pasting, the surface is prepared before painting. Preparation is to apply glue, this is done so that the paint is better to lie down and hold.
For painting, use a paintwork, which can be acrylic or dispersive. The paint with acrylic after drying will betray the wall of shine, and the use of dispersion – matte.
It is best to choose high -quality paint, since painting material of poor quality will lead to the appearance of stains, from which it will be problematic to get rid of.
The paint is applied exclusively with a roller and necessarily a thick layer. Glass wallpaper can also be painted again, the larger the layers, the more stable to moisture.
