DIY Water Paul with Hands of Water Floors are very popular in the arrangement of a modern house. When the floor is heated, the heat in the room is distributed evenly, which can not be said about heating batteries. In addition, it is very pleasant to walk barefoot on this floor at any time. The device of the heated floor is not at all difficult. The principle of gender with heating is as follows: between the floor and the flooring there is a system of pipes along which hot water circulates. The water temperature in such floors does not exceed 35-45 ° C. In order to make a water floor with your own hands, you need a tube that is now sold in the bays. For thermal insulation, laminated foil will be necessary, which will prevent heat loss in the lower layer of the floor. To fill the floor, a cement-sand mixture in the ratio of 1 part of the cement + 3 parts of the sand will be required. Water is added in the amount necessary to obtain a solution of medium density. Too thick the mixture will be poorly leveled, and the liquid is too spread and dry for a long time. To facilitate the filling of the screed on sale, there is a mixture of “bulk floor for warm floors”, which, spreading on the floor, is very well aligned without extraneous intervention. To fasten the structural elements of the water floor, you will need fasteners for the tube, screws and dowel-grooves. The marking will require a beach profile, alabaster and plaster. The necessary tools for work will be a perforator, scissors for metal, a hammer, a spatula, a glue gun, a metal ruler and a harsh thread will not be superfluous. At the very beginning of the work, it is necessary to prepare the base – for this, the old screed is completely removed and the surface of the base is aligned. If the screed does not lie on a flat basis, it can crack over time and in those places the pipes with the coolant are burst. But the cleansed base of the future floor is laid a layer of the heat -insulating foil of the shiny side to the outside. Foil strips are fastened with tape, preferably also foil. After laying thermal insulation, fasteners for tubes with a step of 20 ms at a distance of about 1 meter from each other are mounted. Before installing them, you need to calculate the length of the tube. Approximately required 6 linear meters of a tube per 1 sq. Meter of rooms. The tube is laid with a “snake”, from one end of which hot water will be supplied, and from the other – the release of water. So that the walls do not take heat from the floor, strips of heat -insulating foil are applied around the perimeter of the room to a height of about 15 cm on the walls. After laying the tubes, you can start pouring the floor with a cement mortar or a solution from the mixture of the “bulk floor”. To ensure a flat surface of the screed using a water level, it is necessary to make the marking of the height of the fill along the walls. Special markers are glued along the line of marking with a glue gun. Between them pulls the thread along which the beacons are exhibited. With the help of self -tapping screws, screwing them to the desired height, the height of the screed is set. For a water floor, a height of 6 cm is recommended. Therefore, the distance from the top of the screw to the control thread should be 45 cm. Between self -tapping screws, it is recommended to maintain a distance of 50 cm. These self -tapping screws, coated with cement mixture, will serve as beacons on which it is necessary to lay the beacon profile and also fix it with a cement mortar. After drying the beacons, you can pour a floor with a solution of cement-sand mixture or “bulk floor” with a solution. Fresh screed is aligned by the rule. You can walk on a flooded floor after a day, but you can’t especially load it. The full drying of the screed will take about 10 days. In order to avoid cracks in a concrete screed in the summer heat, it is necessary to pour freshly -poured floor with water and cover with plastic wrap. Your floor is almost ready. After complete drying, you can lay out the flooring and try the system in action.
