Shock -resistant double -glazed windows
Before installing a plastic window, you need to decide on the choice of a double -glazed window. Everyone understands that the more expensive, the better, but it is necessary to figure out what exactly we pay for that kind of money. The choice of a double -glazed window should be treated with all seriousness, as this is the main most important part of the window. The double -glazed window has heat – and soundproofing properties, there are also shock -resistant double -glazed windows.
Double -glazed windows are single -chamber and multi -chamber. In a single -chamber double -glazed window, there are only 2 glasses between which there is a distance frame 12 – 16 mm thick. Reducing heat loss in such double-glazed windows on average 30-40%, decrease in the level of 30-35 dB, 18%light level.
Two -chamber double -glazed window contains three glasses. The thickness of such a double-glazed window is about 24-44 mm. Reducing heat loss to 50%, noise levels to 40dB, light level to25%.The mechanical strength of glass in double -glazed windows is of great importance. Shock -free double -glazed windows are becoming more and more popular.
There are several types of glasses from which shock -resistant double -glazed windows are produced:
Hardened glass has an increased not only mechanical, but also thermal strength. Such properties are achieved by hardening glass with internal voltages.
Laminated glass (triplex) belongs to the group of protective or safe glasses. It has strong properties of sound insulation up to 4 dB and when broken down the fragments do not fly apart, but are kept on a gluing basis.
You can additionally increase the strength of the glass by sticking a special strengthening film. It does not allow glass to fly away during destruction and confront hacking.
