For each of the types of wallpaper it is better to tell separately. All three species are representatives of the most expensive types of wallpaper, and to consider their advantages better details.
Let’s start with exotic – velor wallpaper, many do not even suggest that such exist, but they are and this is a fact. They can be made both on paper and outlets, like vinyl wallpaper. The outer layer is made of velor pile. Such wallpapers are really very beautiful, but their huge drawback is that because of their surface they collect all dust, all moisture and even smells of indoors, and therefore require a set of work. The cost of them is more than the cost of vinyl relatives, however, you can find different options.
The second step we will consider metallized wallpaper, the entire charm of which consists not only in the method of their production, but also in their appearance. The fact is that the base is paper, but the upper layer is a thin metal oxide made of light metals or even aluminum foil in general. The graphics on such wallpaper can be both painted and embossed, and the second option looks much more attractive. The most significant disadvantage of such wallpaper is the complexity of their gluing, since the outer layer is very easy to damage. However, if the gluing is a success, then the effect will surpass all expectations.
And the third view are glass wallpaper, a record holder for life expectancy among all of the above species. Such wallpapers made of fiberglass fabrics are performed, even their base is not paper, but in the form of fiberglass weaving. The advantages of such wallpaper on the face, and the most important of them are neutrality to chemical influences, the service life of up to fifteen years and, most importantly, they are strong and elastic and even with inaccurate gluing it is difficult to damage.
