They are created from fiberglass, which is stretched from a special melt, at a temperature of about 1,400 degrees Celsius. Further, the material itself is created from such fibers, on which the pattern is appropriately either applied, or is simply covered with evenly plain color.
The advantages of this type of wallpaper include the fact that they are either non -flammable or simply refractory, these properties depend on the types of glue and colors that will be part of their composition. Moreover, such wallpapers are not subject to harmful effects of chemicals, and, therefore, will last a very long time.
If such wallpaper is applied when pasting with drywall structures, this will add to them the strength.
Preparation of surfaces for gluing such wallpaper does not fundamentally change: the surface should be dry and clean. All cracks and irregularities should be eliminated by putty, and small irregularities are leveled at the expense of the wallpaper themselves. The glue should be more liquid than usual, while you should pay special attention to the trimming of the panels on the sounds of walls and floor or in the corners, they can only be cut off in a dry form. At the junctions it is best to leave the allowance of about 10 cm, the effect will be better.
Glass wallpaper can be painted, and this can be done repeatedly. The paint can be absolutely any suitable for walls. At the same time, the next painting on the wallpaper will appear from the previous paints and this will create a fairly interesting decorative effect.
