Aerated concrete blocks – light, durable, heat -saving

More recently, a light concrete began to be used in construction, which was known in our country in the distant post -war years. But he received well -deserved popularity in recent years, when modern plants for the production of small concrete blocks for the construction of walls began to appear. Some experts predicted that he would supplant such a popular material as a brick from the construction market, but this did not happen. The brick is still the main building material in the construction of suburban housing.

Light or cellular concrete, for example, aerated concrete, foam concrete, gas zone and others, are also well used in construction, like traditional materials – brick and wood. The managing partner of the Consulting Group “Resolution” Alexander Batushansky believes that in the Russian Federation it makes sense to talk about aerated concrete as a material, the release of which today is developing well. The head of the group notes that aerated concrete in Russia has been known for a long time, but has not become widespread. However, in those regions where production opened, this material has well -deserved popularity and was used, both in multi -storey construction (supporting structures, partitions, sometimes external walls), and in low -rise (all types of supporting structures).

Concrete, produced by KZHBI 211, was the first to arrive in the northwestern construction markets of Russia, there were also deliveries from Belarus. Only after the production of the production of “Aeroks of St. Petersburg”, aerated concrete received its deserved recognition. According to Irina Krylova, head of the marketing department of Aerokov SPb LLC, the company supplied aerated concrete for the construction of cottages in ten villages of suburban housing last year only in the Leningrad Region.
